Winter Homecoming Concert Featuring Julianna Statton '26 (cello) and Robert Gardner '26 (piano), Cantor Art Gallery, 3rd floor, Prior Performing Arts Center Join us for a concert that explores the complex themes of memory, political resistance, and the formation of identity through place and experience. Shostakovich鈥檚 Cello Sonata, a classical example of a composer writing music grappling with the political environment of his time, is paired with a selection from his student, Galina Ustvolskaya鈥檚 鈥淕rand Duet,鈥 a work that challenges the normative compositional and musical boundaries of her time. |

Prior Performing Arts Center and Cantor Art Gallery Open for Self-Guided Tours The Prior Performing Arts Center features dedicated spaces for the fine and performing arts, including the Cantor Art Gallery, a 400-seat concert hall, and a 200-seat flexible performance space, as well as spaces and technology to support creative interactions between the arts and other disciplines. Peek in the Boroughs Theatre and the Luth Concert Hall on the ground floor and visit the Cantor Gallery on the third floor! |

Bob Cousy '50 Court Dedication Program and Reception, Blaney Gymnasium, Luth Athletic Complex Join us as we dedicate the Hart Center basketball court in honor of Crusader legend Bob Cousy 鈥50. At 12:30 p.m. the formal dedication and reception will take place. The program will begin at 1:15 p.m., and the court will be blessed and dedicated shortly before tip-off of the men鈥檚 basketball game vs. Lehigh at 2:00 p.m. |

Uncovering the Healy Family History and 换妻论坛' Relationship with Enslavement, Hogan 320 In 2024, the College welcomed journalist Rachel Swarns to speak about her New York Times story that revealed the Jesuits not only enslaved people, but sold 272 children, women and men to fund Georgetown University and expand its schools across the country. To coincide with Swarns' visit, the College began re-examining its past. The research has led to new details about 换妻论坛' past, the Healys and how 换妻论坛 benefited from enslavement. Join this presentation by Michael Bonner, director of internal and executive communications and a former journalist, to learn more about the research. |
